“Beauty is a key to the mystery and a call to transcendence. It is an invitation to savor life and to dream of the future. That is why the beauty of created things can never fully satisfy. It stirs that hidden nostalgia for God which a lover of beauty like Saint Augustine could express in incomparable terms: ‘Late have I loved you, beauty so old and so new: late have I loved you!' ”
Saint John Paul II
Letter to Artists, #16
The beauty of our Church artwork and environs reflects our recognition of the wonder of the Lord’s real presence in our midst. Working together, we can create a liturgically correct, reverent and prayerful environment in the church throughout the year.
Artists, architects, florists, designers and craftsmen are encouraged to offer their gifts so our parish environs will fully reflect the glory of God.
Gardening Committee
Gardeners meet on the Church grounds on Saturdays in season to plant, weed and keep our parish grounds looking beautiful. To join in this work, contact Valerie Caracelli at [email protected]
Altar Flowers
The gift of flowers for the Sanctuary of the church is a beautiful way to celebrate a birthday, marriage or anniversary or to honor a deceased family member or friend. Gifts will be noted in the parish bulletin.
If you would like to donate flowers for the Main Altar, please contact Valerie Caracelli at [email protected].
You are my Creator, Eternal Trinity, and I am your creature. You have made me a new creation in the blood of your Son, and I know that you are moved with love at the beauty of your creation. I know that you are beauty and wisdom itself. The food of angels, you gave yourself to us in the fire of your love, O Triune God! Amen.
