All are welcome at our Parish! There are several upcoming events that may be of interest to parishioners and visitors including an exciting retreat for single women and a syposium on war. . We are also currently accepting applications for Coordinator of the Children's Religious Education Program at St. Thomas. If you are interested in helping out please contact Fr. Dominican Retreat for Single Women

April 25th-27th, Sr. Vicki Ix, OSB will be leading a retreat entitled "With Lamps Burning: A Celebration of the Spirituality of the Single Life for Women" This dynamic retreat is informed by the parable of the "ten maidens" from the Gospel of Matthew (25:1-13)

There will be conference, prayer, and private reflection time, along with small and large group sharing, to explore our faith and deepen our spirituality. The retreat will be held at the Dominican Retreat House in scenic McLean, VA

The retreat offering is $210 and includes all program fees, room, and meals.

May 10th 2008 from 9AM-5PM there is a one day symposium sponsored by Pax Christi's Metro-DC/Baltimore Chapter. This symposium features a continental breakfast, a keynote by Charles McCarthy, a film, panels, lunch and a Mass celeberated by Msgr. Ray East. Cost is $35 for pre-registration, or $40 at the door .
